CITY-WIDE CONFERENCES AND EVENTS

Santa Monica is the perfect venue for larger conventions and conferences that require multiple hotels, restaurants, and meeting/event sites, as well as orchestrated schedules and flexibility. The city has successfully hosted the International Swim Active Manufacturers (ISAM) annual convention, Divine Design (Project Angel Food’s annual fundraiser), and many more fashion industry events. It is looking forward to hosting the 11th Bi-Annual Meeting of the Gynecological Cancer Society/IGCS and, for years, it has found creative solutions to meeting the expansive needs of the The Independent Film & Television Alliance® (IFTA), formerly the American Film Market (AFM). The IFTA has a global membership, and each year over 70 countries are represented with over 7,000 people attending.

WHAT MAKES SANTA MONICA THE PERFECT LARGER CONVENTION AND CONFERENCE GATHERING SITE?

“Santa Monica is the ideal location for hosting a major event like the American Film Market. It combines world-class business facilities and a full range of lodging and hospitality options in one of the most beautiful and sophisticated tourist destinations in North America. And, of course, perfect weather. It’s no wonder we’re in our 16th year here.”
—Jonathan Wolf Executive Vice President of the Independent Film & Television Alliance and Managing Director of the American Film Market
